Will there be an edition of OB Fest every year?

Oud Bruin Fest does only take place every other year. 
Therefore, there will not be an edition in 2023, the first upcoming edition will be in 2024.

 

Will it be possible to drink another style beyond Oud Bruin?

Yes definitely! Every brewery attending the festival serves at least one Oud Bruin, but they will also bring their best IPA's, triples, stouts and so on.

Also there will be a booth with free drinking water and soft drinks will be available to buy at the bar.

 

What are the opening and closing times?

Friday 4/10/2024 from 4pm to midnight. 
Saturday 5/10/2024 from 2pm to 10pm.

PRE-SALE tokens closes Friday 13/09 at 8pm.
Breweries pour until half an hour before closing time.

 

Will any of the brewers attend the festival? 

Yes. Not all brewers will be present but for the most part they wil.

 

DO I need my ID-card or and their minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes, you have to be over 16 years old to enter. Make sure to have your ID with you, since you can be asked to show it at all times.

 

Can we bring our children?

We recommend not to. As much as we love children, this is not the ideal place for them. A 16 plus policy applies at the festival because beer/alcohol will be sold.

 

Is the event accessible for people with reduced mobility?

Yes, Depart is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility.

 

Will there be enough beer for everyone?

There is plenty of beer from each brewery. Some of those beers are very exclusive so there will not always be enough of those beers for everyone. Earlybirds have more chance to drink exclusive beers off course.

 

What stuff is not allowed to to the festival?

It is not allowed to enter the festival ground with the following objects: own food and drinks, drugs, glass and plastic bottles, blunt, weapons or items that might be used as a weapon, items that might have a negative effect on the safety, health or wellbeing of the festival attendees and any other item which may be considered as dangerous by the organisation.
We reserve the right at our discretion to remove any individual(s) from the festival for behaving inappropriately. You will be escorted out and not allowed back in.

 

What's the refund policy?

Tickets are NON REFUNDABLE and cannot be exchanged for an alternate day. 
​​Buying tickets from 3rd parties is at your own risk. We recommend using TicketSwap in case you are looking to resell/buy tickets when the event is sold out.

 

Can I exchange my remaining tokens for cash?

No, we will however accept the tokens at a future edition. 

 

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, the ticket can be used by someone else as long as the person in question is over 16 years old.
Offcourse, every ticket can only be used one time.
